This private general medical practice  was established in 1974 to meet the medical needs of our community in northwest Broward County. Our office is open Monday through Friday and an on-call doctor is available for emergencies twenty-four hours a day.

Dr. Katz is on staff at Coral Springs Medical Center and at University Hospital in Tamarac, Florida. The office is equipped with modern lab and ECG facilities. We accept medicare assignment and participate with a number of different H.M.O's and P.P.O.'s including Humana, Health Options,  Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida, United Healthcare, Aetna, Vista, Neighborhood Health, AvMed and others.  English, Spanish, Portuguese and French are spoken in the office.

Neil Katz, M.D. started the practice after moving to Coral Springs in 1974. He did his internship at the Toledo Hospital in Ohio.  His residency was at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida.  Dr. Katz is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice and  he  is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice.

Our office manager, Cathy Gardner, pictured on the left, has been with the practice for more than twenty five years. Her expertise in office management is un-paralleled and she is well versed in all aspects of insurance problem solving. So, if you have a problem with an insurance company, H.M.O. or P.P.O., Cathy is the one to see.

Cathy has2 beautiful grandchildren who are the apple of her eye. Cathy's husband Barry was bitten or more appropriately BYTEN by the computer bug and shares my passion.  We also share the same teacher, Roman. Barry's newest passion is his electric train set. I understand he recently started to wear overalls and a hat!  Barry puts his heart and soul into all that he does.  No wonder why Cathy and Barry make such a good couple.

Cathy has run my office for twenty-five years with great skill and expertise. Her loyalty to me and to this practice are inestimable. I know my patients and I can count on her to get things done properly.
